There are many free online resources available to small business owners – the problem is finding the ones that will benefit your specific business. In this seminar, we will look at sites that can help with basic tasks, where to find experts in graphic design, business management and more. A resources list will be given to each participant with additional websites. This course will give you the help you need to grow your business!
3.Social Media Workshop. This workshop will help you establish accounts on the popular social networking sites Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin. We will go step by step with each account and discuss how to use them in your small business. You need to become familiar with these online media programs now –they are changing the way we connect with our customers!
4.Social Media Workshop II for Business Success. Now that you understand the basics of Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook, take this workshop to see how businesses like yours use these free marketing tools to increase business. We will look at examples in various industries and best practices. Each site attracts a different audience of customers and we will look at some websites that will help you with your continuing education. Social media will grow in importance in 2010- make sure you are a leader!
5. Motorcoach Market 101. The group tour, or motorcoach market, can be a great business segment to target. It is important to learn how to develop an interesting and ‘sellable’ group tour, how tiered pricing works, and how to get the word out about your business to this lucrative market. This market is changing and tour operators are actively looking for new tours.
6.Trends in the marketplace. This course will discuss the differences between a fad and a trend, and how to use tools that are available to everyone to find new trends in today’s marketplace. Learn how to brainstorm and see how your business can capitalize on the trends we discover. This workshop will incorporate group activities and everyone will leave with ideas on capturing new business with future trends!
Workshops range from $500 -$750. All workshops include handouts and a follow up survey sent to attendees, with a final report sent to the sponsoring organization.
